Welcome to Olde Blue Bell Cottages. Located at the centre of the quiet village of Heversham in the picturesque South Lakes, an 18th century coaching inn has been converted to form 2 character cottages. The Cottage sleeps 6 and The Barn sleeps 4.

Newly decorated with luxury furnishings, the original oak beams and stone walls have been preserved to give the cottages true character. Fitted with modern facilities throughout, and stocked with all the basic essentials for both kitchen and bathroom we aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

There is an excellent pub in the village, just a 5 minute walk from the door, serving beautiful home cooked meals, as well as the cheapest pint in the Lake District! Surrounded by farmland, the area is excellent for low level walks or cycling. Walk up Heversham Head for beautiful views and stunning sunsets over the Lakeland fells and estuary.

For fresh bread, a green grocer, family butchers, health food shop, newsagent, banks, post office and a whole host of other useful shops, the village of Milnthorpe is a mile away. The location is perfect for exploring the spectacular Lakeland scenery, as well as providing easy access to the Yorkshire Dales. An ideal base for a whole host of outdoor activities or just chilling out!

The cottages are open all year round, and we welcome both families and pets.
